Aiden always loved the water. Bath time was always a sure fire way to relax him at night and get him ready for bedtime. Mama and I were going back and forth on what a cool next adventure would be. I briefly mentioned an Eerie Canal cruise, however, that was a bit too far for Aiden to travel comfortably. Aiden’s mom, within 24 hours, was able to secure the entire river boat, work out donations with Zoey’s Light who were generous enough to make this event happen, manage catering for the boat, and get our entire family invited to the event.

We all had a wonderful time. Aiden got to feel the wind in his hair, the splash of the water on his face, and hear the birds singing as we traveled down the Genesee River. We are so thankful that Aiden was able to take this adventure, and even more so that his whole family was able to join in.
