Every hospital visit we had, we realized over time we needed pieces of equipment at home to make Aiden as comfortable as possible to avoid return visits. Some of the equipment was a fight to get, however, once we got everything home we were able to keep Aiden’s airway clear effectively. We had to be strong advocate’s to get the right people to write scripts, but it was worth it.
- Medline Aeromist Compact Nebulizer
- We eventually moved to a Frida Mom Nebulizer as the medical grade one was ridiculously loud and had no battery.

- Roscoe Medical Portable Suction Machine
- Has a rechargeable battery. We took it everywhere so that was a requirement.

- ABM Respiratory BiWaze® Airway Clearance Cough Assist System
- Battery powered, with a nice carry bag.

- Baxter Hillrom “The Vest” APX System
- Outrageously expensive, but has a hidden discount program if you ask around for it.

- Nonin 7500 Pulse Oximeter
- The toe probes are pricey and insurance only gave us so many a month, but you may be able to ask around for free ones.

- Moog Infinity Enteral Feeding Pump
- The small bags aren’t as user friendly as the larger bags. The beeping is haunting and is triggered by basically everything. If you can get the Kangaroo, we preferred that one in the hospital.
